The Port Youth Center

The Port Youth Center in Henderson, Kentucky is a free drop-in center serving transition-age youth aged 16 to 25. Operated by RiverValley Behavioral Health and funded through the federal TAYLRD initiative (Transition Age Youth Launching Realized Dreams), The Port provides a safe space where young people can access mental health resources, build life skills, and connect with supportive peers and mentors.

What We Offer

• Mental health counseling and support
• Job placement services and career readiness
• Life skills training
• Peer support from trained specialists
• Access to computers, recreational activities, gaming systems, and exercise equipment
• Laundry facilities

All services are provided free of charge. The center is open Monday through Friday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, with extended hours during the summer and school holidays.
