ROSES For Moms

Supporting Recovery and Wellness for Mothers and Families

At RiverValley Behavioral Health, we recognize the courage it takes to navigate motherhood while facing substance use challenges. ROSES For Moms is a sanctuary where you and your family can find the support, understanding, and hope you need on your path to recovery — regardless of your insurance status, employment, or ability to pay.

ROSES For Moms is a comprehensive outpatient program designed specifically for pregnant and parenting women in recovery. Located at RVBH@The Crowne in downtown Owensboro, the program wraps clinical treatment with the practical supports that make lasting recovery possible for mothers and their families.

Funded by a five-year, $2.6 million SAMHSA grant, ROSES For Moms addresses the reality that mothers in recovery face unique barriers — from childcare and housing to the emotional complexity of parenting while healing. Our team of therapists, peer support specialists, nurse practitioners, and case managers work together to meet you where you are.

The program provides screening and assessment, personalized treatment planning, individual and group therapy, medication evaluation and management, peer support from women with lived recovery experience, alcohol and drug prevention education, and parenting education. We also provide case management and family navigation services to help connect you with housing assistance, career development, transportation, and other community resources.

For mothers working toward family reunification, our team collaborates with the Department for Community Based Services (DCBS), family courts, and other agencies to support your goals. We believe that keeping families together — safely — is one of the most powerful motivators for lasting recovery.

ROSES For Moms is open to all mothers in our service area, regardless of financial circumstances. If you need a higher level of care, our team can facilitate a seamless transition to The Amethyst Center‘s residential program, where mothers can bring their infants while receiving 24/7 support.

What to Expect

ROSES For Moms begins with a comprehensive screening and assessment to understand your unique situation, goals, and needs. From there, your care team develops a personalized treatment plan that may include a combination of individual therapy, group sessions, peer support, and wraparound services.

The program is located at RVBH@The Crowne at 107 E 2nd Street in Owensboro. Session schedules are designed to accommodate the realities of motherhood, and our team can help connect you with childcare and transportation resources. Self-referrals are welcome — just call (270) 689-6879 to get started.
